On 7 September, a weak geomagnetic storm is expected with a Kp-index of 5 (G1), with the peak impact of the storm forecasted between 09:00 (UTC+00) and 12:00 (UTC+00), when the geomagnetic storm will reach its peak value.

Slight fluctuations in power grids are possible, along with short-term high-frequency radio communication disruptions in polar regions and a light impact on satellite systems. At night, the aurora borealis may be visible in areas around 60° latitude.

Research does not provide a definitive answer about the health effects of geomagnetic storms, but certain groups of people — particularly those who are weather-sensitive or have chronic illnesses — may experience discomfort.
