Geomagnetic storm forecast for 16 July

On 16 July, a small geomagnetic disturbances is expected with a Kp-index of 4 (G0), with the peak impact of the storm forecasted between 00:00 (UTC+00) and 03:00 (UTC+00), when the geomagnetic storm will reach its peak value.

At high latitudes, slight disruptions in satellite communication channels and GPS may occur. Vulnerable satellite systems may experience minor surface charging, but without significant consequences. The aurora borealis may be visible in regions between 60–65° latitude.

There is currently no consensus among scientists regarding the impact of geomagnetic storms on health. However, many people with increased sensitivity may respond to changes in geomagnetic conditions. In such cases, it is recommended to maintain a calm routine, avoid stress, and pay attention to the body’s signals.
